This is a final reminder for those who would like to attend our upcoming symposium to RSVP by Thursday 8 April.

The evening will be hosted by our Chair, Sir Andrew Burns KCMG,our Director General, Dr Vanessa Davies and our Vice Chair Naomi Ellenbogen QC, where we will be launching our Strategic Plan 2016-19 and our Risk Outlook. After short introductory presentations, we will be hosting workshops to gather feedback on the challenges and opportunities identified in our Strategic Plan and Risk Outlook. In the workshops we will be discussing the following areas:

1. Helping the Bar to improve how it meets consumer needs;
2. Improving diversity and enhancing equality in practice and culture at the Bar; and
3. Commercial pressures on providers and how the regulator can ensure providers respond in an appropriate way.

After, there will be an opportunity to ask a panel of BSB board members about our new Strategic Plan, and the themes we have identified in our Risk Outlook.

The evening will end with drinks and canapes.

We look forward to welcoming you to our symposium, and to hearing your contribution to this critical debate.
