We are delighted to let you know of the second of our wellbeing seminars.

For this seminar we are privileged to have Robyn Brady as our speaker. Robyn is an Australian mental health accredited social worker with 36 years’ experience, 25 of those in private practice, who offers professional supervision to a wide range of health, welfare and legal workers. The author of 5 books and numerous papers she is best known to us in the UK in her role as a consultant and trainer for the UK Bar.

The seminar will look at the difficult behaviours that can occur in a workplace. It draws on neuroscience, mindfulness and psychology to give participants a simple approach and practical, easy to implement strategies when dealing with others. It will look at what makes it so difficult for us to have confrontational conversations. We will learn how brains can alarm each other and discover some simple techniques based on neuroscience and evolutionary psychology that make these conversations helpful and productive for all concerned in legal practice settings.

The Event will be relevant for clerks, practice managers and those with management responsibility in chambers.

Our thanks go to 3 Verulam Buildings who have kindly agreed to host the event.
