The Bar Council is hosting a seminar on the Legal Aid Agency's Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) on 9 September 2015 at the Bar Council Offices.  The use of CCMS to bill Legal Aid work becomes mandatory on 1 February 2016.  This is your opportunity to see the system being used by fees clerks and to pose questions to the LAA about issues you are encountering using the system.  Jan Luba QC of Garden Court Chambers will chair the event.  There will be a short presentation by the Legal Aid Agency followed by demonstrations by fees clerks from Garden Court Chambers and Doughty Street Chambers. The Bar Council encourages all fees clerks and barristers who bill for Legal Aid work to attend.
