We seek to recruit a Practice Directors’ Assistant. Salary – dependent on experience (c. £20,000).
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Collection and distribution of DX and mail
- Delivery of papers to/from court
- Photocopying and bundling
- Preparing refreshments for clients and visitors
- Answering telephone calls
- Booking couriers
- General administrative assistance
- Diary Management
- Billing and fee collection
- Any other day to day tasks as reasonably requested.
33CL consists of 8 Silks and 11 juniors. The role will allow for the suitable candidate to further develop his/her clerking skills with the opportunity to learn all aspects of running a Chambers.
33CL staff consists of the Practice Director, a Deputy and a Second Deputy. The Practice Directors’ Assistant will be the most junior, and the successful candidate will report directly to the Practice Director (PD) or to the Deputy Practice Director in the PD’s absence.
To be successful, you will need to show motivation, an organised approach, a polite and friendly manner, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential. Applicants need to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics.
