Opportunities for Appointments and Overview of ADR Appointment Services
This seminar will give an overview of the various ADR appointment services and schemes provided by CIArb's Dispute Appointment Service (DAS), including the recently launched CIArb Arbitration Rules and the Business Arbitration Scheme, and will also touch on the procedure used for selecting dispute resolvers, and opportunities for appointment as arbitrator / mediator / adjudicator / expert with DAS.
The IBC have been fortunate to secure the services of Keisha Williams who is Head of the Dispute Appointment Service at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She manages the Institute's facilitation of ADR services, and the implementation of all of the Institute's ADR schemes. Keisha also oversees the appointment of arbitrators, mediators, adjudicators and experts in all cases where the Institute is the appointing authority.
The talk will last for 30-45 minutes with an opportunity for questions at the end.
